Prince Edward Island is located off the eastern coast of Canada, covering a land mass of 5,660 square kilometres (2,184 square miles). Its highest point of land is 152 metres (466 feet) above sea level at Springton in Queens County. The Island is only 224 kilometres (139 miles) long and between 6 kilometres and 64 kilometres (four and 40 miles) wide. No part of the Island is more than 16 kilometres from the ocean.

Divided into four areas - Charlottetown - the capital city, North Cape, Central Coast and Points East there is much to see and do. The Island is home to world class golf courses, beaches, seafood and a vibrant economy. With post secondary institutions offering a wide variety of study and a diverse and growing population Prince Edward Island offers its residents a lifestyle that is second to none. Charlottetown

The capital of Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown is a small city that boasts big city amenities. Great food and a culinary culture, vibrant arts and performance centres and a distinctive island-vibe makes it a great choice for families and young professionals.

North Cape Coastal Drive

The North Cape Coastal Drive region or “Up West” as it is referred to by Islanders boasts winding coastal roads, charming villages, great golf and more. Communities like Bedeque, O’Leary, Alberton, Tignish and Indian River each offer a unique blend of island culture and a variety of real estate options.

The city of Summerside, gateway to the North Cape, is the second largest city on the island. With recreation and performing arts centres, great museums and restaurant options it is one of the fastest growing areas on the Island.

If never-ending beaches, one after another is what you are looking for then Points East is for you. With over 50 beaches this is the place to look for properties with shorefront or water views.

Lighthouses that are home to homemade ice cream parlours, cozy cafes and micro breweries dot the shoreline and make towns like Montague, Cardigan, Souris, and St. Peter’s Bay the perfect road trip in all seasons.
